Drabble.

Loki stared at Thor with a bewildered gaze as the older boy held his hand a ran off to a distant place. 'Come with me, Loki,' he grinned, 'I'm going to take you to a very special place!'

It had been years since that had happened, the day where he had supposedly watched it all fall before his eyes, Loki sighed and held back a few tears.

'Are you sure it's safe to go in here, brother,' Loki was hiding under Thor's arm at this point as a stray cat slipped out from the cave they were standing before.
'Come on, Loki, it's absolutely fine,' he held the little boys hand reassuringly before pulling him off into the dark cave before them, 'I come here every day!'

When they found a save spot in the warm cave Thor sat Loki on his lap and pulled out a lunch from his bag. 'Thor... don't you think it's a bit, um, dangerous in here?' Loki shot the older a boy a frightened glare.
'Absolutely not! Don't be a chicken Loki!'
'I am not a chicken Thor!' Loki stood up and stormed off deeper into the cave, 'Just you see!' before Thor could get up to call Loki back, he was gone. He should of told him what was lurking down there
'Loki!' Thor yelled, 'Loki! Come back!' He ran as fast as he could in the direction Loki went.
'What, Thor? I'm just trying to show you how grown up I really am!' Loki frowned.
'Theres something down there that I should of told you about before,' Thor was angry at himself for not telling him this crucial information before
'What?' Loki laughs, 'You said before, this cave is nothing short of harmless.'

It wasn't untill, out of the corner of his eye, he saw a large bear approaching at them, obviously disturbed from its sleep. 'Loki, run!' Thor yelled as he grabbed a stick and started batting the bear away.
'But Thor...'
'Go!'

Loki ran off to a place he thought was more safe. Thor was going to make this, wasn't he, he couldn't just fail so easily. he's Thor! But how wrong he was. In a matter of seconds the bear hit the stick out of his hands and pushed Thor to the ground. Sadly, Thor was weaker than Loki expected and the bear had left large gashes on his head, arms and stomach. Worried, Loki ran over to Thor, throwing the last of his lunch across the cave for the bear to get. 'Oh Thor, how foolish, you knew you couldn't defeat that mighty bear!' He choked back a cry as he held his older brother closer to him.
'But Loki, I didn't want you to try to get the bear away and get yourself hurt,'
'Shh, Thor, look what you've done, you've gotten yourself more than hurt,' The little boys voice was coming out at no more than a distant whisper, 'Hang in there, brother,'
'I'm afraid I cannot, Brother,' The glow in the older brothers eyes vanished and left Loki huddled up in a snivelling mess.
'But Thor, you can't, I love you,' Slowly, he picked Thor up and out of the cave and yelled for help.
