"You ready to go?"
A smile creeps across my face as I instantly recognise the voice. I look up to see the grinning figure leaning casually against the doorframe.
"Meet you at the car?" I ask, my smile now a matching grin.
"It's a date!"
The wink that accompanies those three words makes my heart skip a beat, reminding me that this is right.
It may have been he who brought me here...
But it is she who makes me stay...
