Not too far away in was Kovi the fox. His troupe traveled at a steady pace, navigating their way through the thick undergrowth.
"Faster, and make as little noise as possible in these parts cause noise travels a long way" muttered Kovi.
His slave drivers whipped the stragglers. The band consists of two score of rats and Kovi, the only fox and the only one with brains. In his group of slaves, there is a badger, a few bank voles, mice, squirrels and an old otter. Most of the slaves were hardened by long seasons of marching.
A weak old mouse fell from fatigue and whimpered. Swiftly the badger lifted the elder back on his feet and whispered, "Hush now old one."
Little BoBo swam and played cheerfully in the stream. Suddenly he was swept down stream by a fast wave. His friends ran to the otter chief.
"Likkle BoBo was washa down stream sir!" squeaked Fara a mouse babe.
"Aye, bigga water wash BoBo downa stream!" wailed a group of dibbuns.
Ferb Keeneye, the otter chief ran to Joseph the bell ringer and shouted, " Ring the alarm bells!! A dibbun has been swept down stream!!"
In the small hut, which was used as a council .The, warriors and scouts of the village gathered and discussed on what could be done.
" Edinabar take some otters and go down stream to find your brother, Yarrow take your squirrels and lookout for him on the treetops. Arm yourself with slings and stones. Go and get him back!!!!"
A rat named Deadeye caught BoBo in a net and went to Kovi and shouted," Look wot I caught in my net boss. A baby otter!"
