Dark tunnels
Fulfilled with blackness,
Cold and repelling.
Impossible
To look beyond
To see the soul behind
But sometimes
You can glimpse through the icy veil
And feel the never-ending pain behind
Unhealthy close to insanity.
It takes only a second
Or less
Then the unanticipated weakness is gone
And you don't know
If it was true or false
What your eyes claim
to have seen.
The walls are up again
And you feel small and stupid
Face to face
To that familiar, arrogant sneer.

Geography was extremely boring today...so I wrote this and somehow it suits a certain character of JKR, I think...
