1 Prelude
Laughter was ringing down the hallways a figure was running, catching a flash of red fly by followed by white flash. Lafarga shook his head as he followed at a more slowly pace after the Pillaresse. Hikaru let out another fit of giggles and took off, closely followed by Lafarga, her ever- faithful shadow. Hikaru was racing her other shadow, a very fuzzy, white, marshmallow looking bunny. "Come on Mokona, can't catch me." The white fairy jumped and landed squarely on her shoulder to find no where to land. With a soft thud the fluffball landed facedown "Oh Mokona are you all right?" Hikaru kneeled down and stroked its soft white head while it made puuing sounds. Lafarga was amazed by how much on how much compassion could come from one woman. A child really, but Hikaru was a born ruler, he could see it in all she did, battle, teaching, healing, everything. Hikaru looked up at him and smiled "You do not have to guard me all the time, Lafarga, you can go have some time with Caldina, I'm sure she would appreciate it." Lafarga gave a small blush at the name of his new wife, the dancer from Chizeta. "Any ways I'm in the castle, no one would hurt me here." Lafarga looked at her about to argue "Don't make me order you Lafarga" Hikaru said in stern mockness, lip twitching, forcing back a smile. He grinned "Yes your highness" Lafarga bowed, listening to the happy squeals from the girl/child and knew every one seeing this sight would not even think of hurting her. Hikaru was to innocent for some one to purposely hurt. He frowned, he would go so far as killing some one who hurt her, he knew everyone who even had a few minutes to talk with her would. Hikaru was a light in darkness, shining brightly, brighter than any other Pillar before her.
Hikaru was laughing, dodging Mokona's attempts to catch her when a light caught her eye. Hikaru moved toward trying to find the source. Hikaru's eyes went blank as she walked as if in a trance up an old flight of stairs. Mokona squealed, ran up to her and started tugging on the back of her tunic, trying to stop her. Hikaru was oblivious to it, and kept on walking. Mokona cried out and ran out of the hall. And kept running/jumping until it was in the thrown room. "PUUU PUUUU" Mokona yelled, waving its paws at Presea, the weapons master. "What is it Mokona? Do you want to play?" "PUUUUUUUUU" Mokona cried. A red beam shot out of the ruby on its for head showing a picture of Hikaru. "Mokona has something happened to Hikaru" said Lafarga jumping out of his seat "PUU" Lafarga ran out of the room to where Mokona and Hikaru had been playing, spying the staircase, he ran up it, sword drawn. Followed closely by Clef the most powerful sorcerer in Cephiro. When they reached the top they saw Hikaru facing them, looking blankly at a book in her hands, about to open it. Clef saw the cover of the book, it read The Clow Star. "Hikaru! No don't open that book!" But it was to late, Hikaru had already opened it and a flash of light surrounded them. When Lafarga and Clef were found by the others, Hikaru was no where to be found on Cephiro.
And so it begins.
