"Regulusssss…" The s on his name seemed to carry too long. Almost snake like.

Regulus Black, a pale skinned teenager, who would normally look quite handsome given any other conditions, woke up. He instantly looked around, searching for what had made the noise. He felt deep down, that he already knew the answer, but he was quite glad that Lord Voldemort or one of the other Death Eaters weren't there to kill him. He still couldn't shake the feeling as though he had just heard Lord Voldemort whispering in his ear. Once he realized he was safe, he got fully out of bed. It felt weird staying in his old room the past few weeks, but he didn't know many other places that were a safe place to hide.

"Regulusss…" he heard the quiet whispering again.

He felt it very close and he looked down at the locket that hung around his neck. Could this be the cause of the whispering he was hearing. He remembered a few weeks ago, what he had learned about Lord Voldemort. That he had created so many Horcruxes. Maybe if he could destroy one of them, it could help redeem himself. Yes he had been a Death Eater. It wasn't the best decision of his life, but now he regretted it. Unfortunately you don't just walk away from the Death Eaters, all happy and dandy. He escaped narrowly with his life. He had gone to that dreaded cave, and brought the locket back with him.

"Regulus!" This time the dark mark on his arm burned in pain.

Was the locket calling out to him? Should he answer back? He wasn't an expert in dark artifacts or anything like that, so he wasn't sure what to do. He still hadn't figured out how to destroy it. No spell he knew would work. If he had he would have done so already. He wasn't sure what to do. He felt so drained and cranky, ever since he started wearing this thing. "What….?" he answered back cautiously.

"Open it." The whisper said in the demanding voice that could only belong to one person.

The bags under his eyes seemed to get heavier, as he looked at the thing that hung around his neck. He thought he was going crazy now. He was having a conversation with a locket, but really he knew what was inside. Part of the soul of the man most evil, people were scared to say his name. "Why?" he asked.

"OPEN IT!" This time yelling.

"NOOO!" he screamed and pulled the locket off of his neck and threw it in the corner.

"REGULUS!" It continued to scream at him. He writhed in pain from the mark on his arm. Had he been found! He heard the glass window in his room break and he heard footsteps but it was almost a world away from him. He reached for his wand. "Avada Kedavra!" He yelled pointing at the nearest Death eater, but there were too many of them and only one of him they all yelled. "Avada Kedavra!"

Regulus fell to the floor dead the locket in the corner laughing and the Death Eaters were gone as quick as they came.
