Crackle, snap, crackle, snap.

The brunette girl trudged through the forest with her arms folded across her chest. Puffy red eyes indicated she had been crying before. "Stupid boys…" Olette muttered under her breath, watching the dapple green light shine through the leaves.

Springtime in Twilight Town always made everything come to life, sometimes; Olette liked it better than summer, which her boys loved. Now, enough of my senseless rambling and let's get back to the story.

"Who needs them anyways?" At first, her voice was hushed, quiet as nature was. "Who needs boys anyways?" Louder this time, each time the words grew louder, echoes, and slurred, until finally, she was screaming, "Ooneedsboysnyways?"

The twigs under her feet cracked and snapped, while she stepped on the small, delicate white clovers peeking from the green background. Bursting into a run, she dashed through the woods, not even trying to avoid the trees.

She ran straight into one.

Falling back with a heavy 'Ugh', Olette struggled to get back up, hearing faint footsteps behind her, and someone, no, people, calling her name. "Olette! Olette! Where are you?" Panicking, the girl hurried up, ignoring the huge red bruise that came with the collision with the tree, and ran again. This time, she tripped on a tree root. Not even bothering to try to get away this time, the brunette stayed there.

"How can you be so clumsy?" A familiar voice cut through the silence. Looking up, she saw Hayner knelt down before her to examine her ankle. "Do you think you can walk?" Roxas asked anxiously, kneeling next to Hayner.

"I'm sure she's fine." Pence said, poking at her ankle. "But I think she twisted it." The ebony haired boy looked up to see her reaction, the brunette cringed. Hayner stood back up. "Well, what to do now?"

Roxas stared at their leader as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Take her home, of course. Get on." The blond motioned Olette to get onto his back. Reluctant, she shook her head. "Come on, you're not still mad at us, are you?" A smile found her face, and she did was she was told.

"Olette, Olette, Olette… What are you going to do without us?" Hayner asked as the four friends walked down the forest path (actually three, Olette wasn't really walking). Her grin simply grew wider. "Hayner, that's not the question. The question is what you three will do without me."

Before the leader could react, he collided with a tall sycamore. "And, Olette, we wrote this, incase you're still made at us." Pence said meekly, waving a piece of white paper around. "I'm not exactly in the position to read, Pence. Read it for me?"

All three boys stopped walking, and blushed as Pence began.

"Dear Olette," She stifled a laugh, "We feel really bad about hurting your feelings. We hope you know we didn't mean it. With love, Hayner, Roxas, and Pence." Pence held up the paper in front of her face, giving her proof that they had signed it.

The brunette could only laugh and call the other two over, to give the three boys an awkward hug with one arm. "You guys are the best."
