Nora's Middle Name

"Morning, you're up early for a Saturday." Nick told Jackie with a smile as she came down the stairs.

"Nora thought I should get up apparently, she's practicing her gymnastics routine or something, I gave up trying to sleep. What time did you get home?"

"About an hour ago, want some orange juice?"

"Please." She answered.

He got up and poured two glasses of orange juice and then sat back down.

"Thanks."

"You know Jacks, I've been thinking about her middle name, and I think it should be either Jacqueline or Joelle (Jackie's middle name), since this is our last baby, what do you say?"

"I don't know Nicky, that's sweet but it isn't necessary."

"Do you have any middle names you like?" He asked.

"No, not really." She admitted.

"Then let's do one of those two, you deserve it, I'll even let you decide which one you like better since the flow of a name means more to you then it does to me."

"Ok, thanks Nicky, can I have a couple days to think about it?"

"Nope, you have to decide right this second." He told her jokingly.

She playfully swatted his arm.

"Do you like one better than the other?" She asked.

"I actually think they both sound good with Nora, and with Stokes, so either one is fine with me."

"Give me a couple days to think about it and then I'll let you know which one I like better." She told him.

"Ok. Do you want me to make some scrambled eggs for breakfast?" He asked.

"I knew there was a reason I liked you." She replied with a grin.

Nick laughed and got up to start breakfast.

Within a few minutes the couple was enjoying a nice quiet breakfast, which was totally worth getting up early for in Jackie's book!
