"Really, Shepard?" Tali asked as she walked around the so-called 'Christmas tree'.
"Why? It looks great!" Shepard said, as he sat on the couch, signaling Tali and their daughter to sit as well. "Let me tell you a story, little girl." Shepard said, picking up her young quarian daughter. "Oh, and you too, Tali, this will be a great story."
"Uhh…" Tali sighted.
"Every year, a krogan name Santa Wrex travels around the galaxy, to give gifts; books and toys to children everywhere. He travels in a starship, which is powered by magic-"
"Shepard." Tali said, getting annoyed.
"What?" He asked back.
"She's a quarian, she won't believe in magic when the answer is pretty obvious."
"Maybe, but she's only six years old."
Tali sighted. "Okay, okay. Please continue."
"Where was I? So. There was this krogan, who spoke in a low voice, and his clothes were in red and white-" Shepard said, but a loud knock interrupted him. He stood up and opened it. Unsurprisingly, Wrex stood there, scratching his back as the clothes Shepard gave to him roughly and hour ago itched him really.
"Damn it, Shepard, I want my ryncol what you promised to me" He said, but Shepard kicked him. "Uhh, I mean, Ho ho ho, merry… umm… kris mas or something like that." He said, and walked in. He put down a rather large box in the middle of the room, and walked to the kitchen, serving himself.
Shepard held back a laughing, but which was hard. "Hey, look! Santa's here and he's…" He said and looked at Wrex, "he's drinking ryncol." He said, and looked down.
"What is that?" Their daughter asked, pointing at the large box.
"I think that is your gift." Tali said. They walked to the box and started to unwrap it.
Meanwhile, Shepard talked with Wrex. "You know that I only bought that for you."
"You know that I only came because you had ryncol. Coming here from Aralakh is not easy… I might get sick looking at these squishy quarians."
"Thank you, Wrex. You're a good friend." Shepard said.
"You too, Shepard." Wrex said, drinking from the large glass.
