Hiya! Yet another creation by the Mad Hatter. But this time, it wasn't just him. That's right, it was a joint project! He showed me the lyrics he made for the Prelude of Light and the Nocturne of Shadow, and I mentioned the Windmill tune. He told me he hadn't come up with anything yet, then sort of absentmindedly sang to himself the lyrics he had made up so far. I came up with something right then, made a suggestion or two and helped him finish the first little bit, and next thing we knew, we were working together to write lyrics for one of the most well-known tunes among the bigger Zelda fans! To be honest, I came up with most of it, but he helped me out by saying things that caused me to think of better ideas and whatnot, as well as working with me to make sure the lyrics fit right! Anyway, we hope you enjoy it, as it's probably the best set of Zelda lyrics we've ever done, both individually and as a pair! Oh yeah, it sounds better if sung a little slower than usual, and the spaces represent a break between verses. That way, it's easier to tell how it should be sung.
Go Around, Go Around
Go around,
Go around,
With a dizzy whirling sound,
Spinning in the breeze,
Towering o'er the trees.
Go around,
Go around,
As I sit upon this mound,
Come listen to my song.
Go around,
Go around,
Storms a' brewing in the town;
Standing in the rain;
Memories of pain.
Go around,
Go around,
Rising straight up from the ground,
Sending my woes away.
Go around,
Go around,
Hark! I hear a soulful sound!
Flowing on the breeze,
Answering our pleas.
Go around,
Go around,
Such a spirit-lifting sound!
Blowing the storms away.
Go around,
Go around,
With a dizzy whirling sound,
Spinning in the breeze,
Towering o'er the trees.
Go around,
Go around,
As I sit upon this mound,
Come listen to my song.
So what did you think? Please, PLEASE leave a review for this one, as both of us are very proud of it, and would like to know your own thoughts. No joke, it took us almost the entire class period to think these up. And you gotta admit, it's quite catchy too! Oh yeah, if you were wondering what the soulful sound was, it was the sound of the Ocarina of Time. Anyway, please review!
