Disclaimer- I don't own warriors. Erin Hunter owns warriors.
I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really hope you know Redtail and Spottedleaf are brother and sister. Really.
"Spottedleaf," whispered Redtail. "Come here."
"What is it, Redtail?" asked Spottedleaf, her pelt ruffled and her eyes shining from the excitement of chasing the squirrel, which she had finally caught.
"She's here," Redtail said softly.
"No kidding?" asked Spottedleaf, her eyes amazed
"Yes," whispered Redtail.
Spottedleaf followed Redtail to the grassy clearing. The wind ruffled their fur, and the grass swayed like a dancer. In the middle of the clearing, lay a small, tortoiseshell she-cat, her fur buffeted by the wind. She was unmoving, except the slight rise and fall of her flanks. Her eyes were closed, her legs were splayed uselessly behind her, and her ears were twitching.
"It can't be," whispered Spottedleaf. "I thought she was dead."
"But she isn't," replied Redtail.
As if by silent agreement, Redtail and Spottedleaf bent over the tortoiseshell's fur, and began to lap silently at her fluffy pelt.
"Beware," the wind seemed to say, "The lost sister is back from the Dark Forest. Beware."
Ohhh! Cliffie! Just saying, I hope you don't mind it's so short. I just had this random idea. Oh, and it's paused until I think of what's next.
