"Thaw me out," Bobby whispered softly as his beloved Hank's furry, blue lips finally began to descend upon his for the first time in months.
The decline of his lover's mouth stopped. His yellow eyes opened a little wider and danced with mirth, puzzlement, and amusement. The sound of his deep chuckle both simultaneously warmed Bobby's heart for it had been too long since he'd heard his partner laugh and irked him because it was one more thing standing between their lips. "I can not believe you just said that!"
"Yeah?" Bobby's naturally cold fingers curled around the collar of Hank's big, white lab coat. He tugged impatiently.
"That line is too corny even for you, Robert!" Hank jested.
Bobby smirked. "Believe it," he challenged, pulling him closer to him. "It's been too long, Hank. I need you!"
"And I, my darling Rrroberrrt, both need and love you!" Hank finally kissed him, sealing their declarations and making both their dreams come true. Silently, he swore both that he would never leave the X-Men again and, the next time he needed information from outer space, he'd send some one else, even if he had to strap them to a rocket to do so!
The End
