A/N: Family dynamics. I loves them.

Gaara stands in front of his siblings, and represses the urge to sigh.

Temari is attempting to say something. He doesn't think Kankuro will; he's too busy watching the progression of Gaara's mouth across his face.

Temari manages to speak, which isn't a surprise. "So...you're using the Sand Armour to keep a straight face during meetings?"

He nods.

"And..." Here she shuts up for a while, because his mouth is spinning a bit.

"Yes?"

She snaps back to reality. "How long have you been doing this?"

He shrugs. "A while. Kankuro?"

"Huh?"

"Stop staring."

"Oh. Okay." His brother manages to haul up his lower jaw.

"But..." Temari. Another question. "Why are you showing it to us?"

He rolls his head. "Well, it's difficult to perfect my face with just the mirror. I think it'll be easier for me to get the face right if you two help me."

"Ah, I see." She nods in an annoying older-sister haha I know more than you! way.

"Your mouth is..." Kankuro supplies helpfully. Gaara would tell him he's an idiot, but the look his old sister is giving the puppeteer says it (and much more) for him.

Gaara grabs the sides of his face, and pulls on the sand-skin. It snaps back into place, but it stings a bit. At least his mouth is roughly where it should be.

Kankuro makes a face. "Man. Why do you get the cool power?"

Temari rolls her eyes at him. "Because Dad-"

And here she stops, looking at him fearfully.

"Is he glaring at us?" she hisses at her brother.

Kankuro doesn't respond, because he's debating his chances of getting away. They're not good.

Gaara ignores most of this, as he's just noticed that his left eye is sliding off his nose.

Blame the Hitachiin twins and Skulduggery Pleasant for this one.
