A remote island, somewhere in the Caribbean Sea

November 1, 1985

It was close to midnight.

A small insignificant lizard lays on a branch in the sands under a starry night. She's just lying there staring at a huge ship that's taking off.

And there it goes sailing off into the sea. Seagulls fly in the sky.

She had observed those people that were on her island home for months for some reason. And now they are leaving, and they were happy to finally leave. She could never comprehend what they were doing there.

All she saw was them having a great time. Dancing. Swimming. In great bliss. Some were drawing in large paper. She could not see what they were drawing. Though she came closer out of curiosity. Most of all, to get some of their food. She crawled up to an easel. Just as she was about to climb up to be able to see the paper, she was suddenly swept away by something.

"Eww, a lizard!" squealed one of the artists.

"Oh for heaven's sakes, Max, its not poisonous." another artist told him.

The lizard lands in a small puddle. She swam away and scuttles from them. So she had been observing them since. And now she's seeing them sail way.

In front of her eyes, a flash of hot light as bright as the sun struck her. And a force as strong as a hurricane thrown her off the tree branch. She landed on the sand.

What seemed like a few minutes, she comes to and gets out of the sand. In front of her was the most horrible creature she had ever seen.

"SSSSSSSSSS!!!" she hissed in absolute terror. She slithers away, unaware that the creature isn't real. It was drawn in paper that was washed up on shore.

She soon continues her daily uneventful insignificant life in the island. She forgets that there had ever been anyone else on her island, other than the usual birds and other animals that inhabit here. But, she could never forgot the horrible monster that will forever haunt her dreamless sleep for the rest of her existence. Unknown to this blissfully unaware small creature, this alien terror will be unleashed and a world she has no idea existed, will change nor if it could last …
