It was an oddly slow day at Weasley Wizard Wheezes. Even with the wizarding war brewing, business still remained again it was a Tuesday, and the First Day of School at Hogwarts was still a good ways off. Owners Fred and George Weasley sat at the registers very two best friends, Alicia Spinnet and Angelina Johnson were keeping them company. Both girls played professional quidditch, but were off for the time being with the lockout of teams.
"So,have you girls got your things for tomorrow?" asked Fred. Tomorrow was Bill and Fleur's wedding.
"Yeah, we went shopping ages ago." said Alicia dismissively. George walked over and sat on the arm of Angelina's chair.
"Think we should close up early? Seems like no more are coming." he said sighing. Angelina put her hand on his arm. Instantly he felt a surge of electricity shoot through him. George secretly loved Angelina madly, but refused to tell her. A few years ago She and Fred had dated, and George knew for a fact he still had feelings for her,so he had given up on having a chance with her.
"I think that's a good idea Georgie," said Fred smiling. With a wave of his wand the shutters closed, the door locked and the candles went out.
"So, How about the Leaky Coldron?" he asked.
The four friends sat at a small table next to the window. The pub wasn't packed, nor empty, but just enough people to make it look inhabited. George ate his potato soup quietly in deep thought. He was brought out of it when his chin started to tickle. Angleina was wiping his chin.
"You had a bit of cheese there." she said smiling. He smiled back.
"So when's the lock out supposed to be over?" asked Fred rather loudly.
"Well, supposedly when the trade mess is over, but everyone knows it's because of the war but doesn't want to say it." said Alicia.
"Well that's a bloody shame then, because I love to see you two play." he said taking a drink. Angelina winced at the tension of his voice.
That night all four retired to the flat above the shop.
"Night all." said the twins before going into their separate rooms. Alicia and Angelina both stayed in separate rooms also.
At about 1:30 into the night it began storming rather badly. Angelina sat up from the bed and looked out the window. She hated storms, and was quite frightened by them. She tried to keep quiet as to not wake her friends, and turned her back to the window.
After a few minutes of unsuccessful attempts at sleep she reluctantly turned back to the window, but this time she saw a hooded figure atop of the roof a few feet from the window. She leapt out of bed and dashed into the nearest room, which happened to be George's . She quickly slipped into bed with him shaking from fright. George turned on the lamp and looked at her.
"It's okay Lina, you're okay." he said rubbing her back.
"I….I saw something." she squeaked George's eyebrows furrowed.
"What did you see?" he asked.
"Some a hood on the next room. They were looking at me…so… dark…" she then began sobbing. George sat up and pulled her onto his lap.
"It's okay, they're gone." he said. But this bothered him, who could it have been? Why would they bother his Lina? he asked himself.
The sun was peeping in,indicating it was morning. George's eyebrows fluttered open. Angelina was laying on his chest, the picture of content. Her raven back hair spilled over her back and his shoulder gracefully. Her perfect chocolate colored skin blending with the slight tan of his chest. He stroked her shoulder lightly and kissed her forehead. She stirred a little, but remanded asleep. He began whispering to her.
"Angelina, I promise to always be there for you,to always love you. To protect you. To be what ever you need me to. I'm forever yours." Just then he picked up his wand and did the most craziest thing he's ever done. He waved his wand, and a ribbon of blue ,purple, and yellow floated above her head. He'd made the un breakable vow
