A/N: Riley is based off of me. She doesn't have my name and she basically would do anything I would in the same situation. Kage (pronounced- kah-gay) is the opposite of me.

(Pythor's POV)

I was slithering down to the chambers of the Constrictai tomb. After releasing them I thought I'd take a look around with Skales by my side. To my right I spotted a large wall full of inscriptions about the Great Devourer. I was looking for the way to release the Devourer, but something else caught my eyes. The legend of the polar opposites.

"Legend says when the two touch, the world will end." 'This just might be better than a giant snake.' I read the rest of the legend and Scales and I left the cave to find Ouro Boros.

(Riley's POV)

I just woke up when Sensei came knocking on my door. Just yesterday did I officially become the ninja of light. I allowed Sensei in and he greeted me for the morning.

"Yes, Sensei? What is it you needed me for?" I had a bad feeling about this. Sensei had this look that just said there was something wrong with me.

"You are in grave danger, Riley. Pythor has discovered the legend of the polar opposites." Okay, where was he going with this? That legend was just an old kid's tale. It told of two people, one of no heart and one of pure. It said that if the two touch, then the world will end, but there's no such thing as that. It's just a fairy tale.

"I thought that was just an old tale. Nothing more." Sensei didn't seem to be pleased.

"I thought as much. The tale is very true. In fact, you are one of the two beings it describes." What? So, I must be the being of pure heart? I know I wouldn't be the one without it, but really? I looked up at him with doubt as he stroked his beard as always.

"We must prepare you for the upcoming chaos that will ensue. You must train harder than ever and you must find your true potential."

"Yes Sensei." I bowed in respect.

"You will start training tomorrow. I'm sure Pythor has already made it to Ouro Boros." He left my room and left me in my thoughts. Well, shoot. I had to see my mother tomorrow. I'll see if Zane will let me borrow his falcon.
