Olivia slipped into the seat at her favorite bar. She often comes here to get over her cases.
She was up to order a drink, as someone slide a drink over to her.
„You look like you need this more than I", the blond said. Olivia flashed her a brief smile.
„Thanks. I've had a hard day"
„I can tell", she laughed. Olivia raised an eyebrow.
„Sorry. That was out of line", she apologized.
„No, It's okay. I'm Olivia"
„Serena"
„Thanks for the drink"
„I think I had enough today"
„Hard day, too?", Olivia asked.
„Yeah", Serena smiled.
„What do you do?"
„I'm a lawyer. I finished a hard case today"
„I'm stuck with a case"
„You're lawyer, too?"
„Oh no", Olivia laughed, „I'm a cop"
„Which unit?"
„Special Victims"
„Oh, that's tough"
„Yes, especially the cases with kids. But hey, can we switch the topic. I'm not really in the mood for talking about the job"
„I totally understand this. But it's good to have someone outside from work to talk with"
„Instead of sitting in a bar, you should search some friends for yourself"
„I have friends", Serena objected. Olivia let out a small laugh.
„Right. And why you're sitting here alone in a bar on a Friday night?"
„Some question to you. Why are you here alone?"
„I've never said that I have friends", Olivia admitted.
„Maybe you should search a reason for this"
„So, now you're a lawyer and a psychologist?", she grinned
„You're such a smart ass, you know?", Serena asked laughing.
„Come on. You like it"
„And what if I do?"
„I would ask: ‚your place or mine?'"
„My place is just a few blocks from here", Serena said and placed money on the table.
„Well… let's go", she grinned.
Serena opened the door to her apartment and went straight to her bedroom
„You know, I really like our role playing games, Liv"
„Oh yeah", Olivia grinned and closed the bedroom door behind her.
