Authors Note: Please don't flame. This is happening to a couple of really good friends of mine, and I felt so strongly about this, so I had to write about it.

Dean and Luna were arguing. They had left Hogwarts to be friends, and so far it had been great.
Luna had blamed herself. She had been in love with Dean for three years. Then she had told Dean she was bi. And Dean took it the wrong way.
He told her he didn't support it. And she told Ginny.
When Ginny came into the mix, it was horrible. Dean and Ginny verbally bashing one another, then one day Luna couldn't take it anymore.
She told ginny to take a holiday for a couple of days while she sorted this mess out.
She tried to speak Dean.
He didn't reply.
She sent him a letter in red ink.
You know what, this is who I am, and if you're going to blow it out of proportion like Ginny, then fine. I should have listened to my family – I deserve better.

When Luna woke up the next morning, she felt... FREE. Like she was waking up for the first time. It was as though Dean didn't exist anymore.
She never saw him again.
And she was happier than she ever was with him.
