My Promise to the Games

Just a quick little poem I wrote up, thinking about the Hunger Games and all. R&R Please!

A/N Just wanted to put together a quick little poem. This is also inspired by another author on . His name is TithenElleth. He just inspired me to make this version of the Hunger Games. His was about Harry Potter, so he has the rights.

I promise to remember Katniss,
when I see a bird in day.
I promise to remember Gale,
when my friend travels my way.
I promise to remember Peeta,
when I smell fresh bread pop up.
I promise to remember Prim,
when I witness a tearful closeup.
I promise to remember Rue,
when I hear a song of joy.
I promise to remember Thresh,
when I see a young strong boy.
I promise to remember Snow,
when an evil plan does fail,
and promise to remember Madge,
for my heart will never fail.
I promise to remember Haymitch,
when drinking ensues a friend,
and swear to remember Effie,
when I set a style trend.

Though the books,
over the pages.
These memories,
will last for ages.
