A/N I know this is short and Percy may be OOC, but this is my first fic, so I tried my best. Please review and tell me if I can fix anything. (Also, I highly recommend listening to Honey I'm Good by Andy Grammer to get the idea of this.)

Disclaimer: I don't own Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Percy sighed as he looked around him. He was currently sitting in a bar, and he didn't want to be there. The reason for him being in his current position was Jason. Jason had decided that the guys (Percy, Grover, Frank, Will, Nico, and him) needed a guys night out.

Grover was excused because he said that he already had something planned with Juniper. Of course, when Percy tried using the same excuse, saying that he had something planned with Annabeth, it didn't work.

It just got worse when Travis and Connor invited themselves and made Percy get a drink. That left Percy sitting in his current position, on a stool at the main bar counter. Connor and Travis were off to someplace doing something (probably stealing), and all of the other guys had ditched him to go dance or whatever else they were doing currently. Percy could have gone with them of course, but he really didn't want to.

Percy was startled out of his thoughts suddenly when he heard a thud from in front of him. He looked up to see that a pretty brunette waitress had set another drink in front of him. Percy smiled politely, "Oh, no thanks miss. I've had enough to drink."

The waitress batted her eyelashes, "Honey, you've only had one. That can't nearly be enough for you. It's on the house."

Percy's smile lessened slightly and his eyes narrowed a little, "No, honestly, I'm good."

"I don't think you know what you're talking about. Are you sure?" the waitress leaned toward Percy and started caressing his arm. "Come on, just have one more. For me?"

"You've got me all wrong. I already have a girlfriend, and her name is Annabeth." Percy frowned at the flirty waitress. "And if I stay, I might not leave this bar alone. Many men have failed their loved ones by getting too drunk, most of them better than me, and I can't fall into that temptation."

"My name is Angela. I think that's a better name than Annabeth don't you?" The waitress batted her eyelashes again and leaned in closer, "What do you need her for when you could have a girl like me?"

Percy looked at Angela seriously, "You do look good. I'm not going to lie to you about that, but I love my girlfriend. I hope that you find a guy that's good to you someday, but I have to stay true to the one that I love."

Angela backed away from Percy, "You are really loyal."

Percy smiled now, "Ya, I've been told that alot. I have to go now. Could you please tell my friends that I'm going home?"

"The ones making a ruckus over there? Sure, and thanks for… for saying that nice stuff about me finding the right guy. I-I hope that you have a nice night," Angela stuttered as she spoke. She obviously wasn't used to being turned down or thanking people.

"You're welcome. I hope that you have a good night too. Try not to get into any trouble." Percy stood up, tossing a five dollar bill on the counter as he did so. He nodded to her, and exited the bar.

As Percy walked down the sidewalk with the sun setting to his left, he sped up a little. He had someone to get home to.
