Hey! Well, obviously this is a new story but before uploading the first chapter I've to issue some important warnings for my future readers (at least I hope I'll have some after this). The story will follow swiftly, promise!

- The first bomb: I've not played any of the Final Fantasy games. I've seen Advent Children at least twice and Last Order once and I've read like a hundred fics (not quite but close enough), and I've the internet to make up for my lack of experience in the FF games. I'm pretty sure I know enough to try this but, anyway, I'll appreciate input when the time comes.
- Anyway, this will be an Alternative Universe. It was planned like that from the beginning so the reason isn't the one stated above. This is a crossover which means I'll introduce an unknown into the FF universe and things will change accordingly. Of course, many things will be almost the same or very similar and I'll honestly try not to screw up the cannon too much in those instances.
- This will take place before Crisis Core and later during Crisis.
- This will be done in drabbles or short chapters, depending, but I'll just call them drabbles for convenience sake. The reasons are many. First, it's been a long while since I've written anything with the intention of letting others read it. Second, this is sort-of a trial for me because English is not my first language and writing was not my best subject (stupid letters, articles and essays ¬¬). However, I love to write and I refuse to upload some crap, which is another reason for the drabble-ish chapters, they are a bit easier to scheme and don't allow my inner!perfeccionist to be a bitch. Much.

- I don't have a beta. The intelligent thing to do would be to get one but I can't follow a schedule to save my life and I'll probably frustrate the poor girl or guy to an early grave. I know I'm doing that to myself. I'll welcome advice and constructive criticism anytime. I know I need it.
- Some characters will be OoC. The insert from HP will be very OoC at the beginning, for reasons that will be explained properly in the story, and he'll eventually revert a bit to his normal self later. I won't say more. Genesis will be too but not to an extreme, things will be different and he will grow a bit differently as a consequence; also, he'll be a child at the beginning so it's only logical for him to be OoC. I don't plan to turn him into a good samaritan overnight (or at all), so no worries there. I mostly like him as he is.

I think those are the most important things. Other details:
- The rating is mainly because of the nature of the game. Its action: there will be fighting, blood, death (probably), psychological issues and some cursing (I've no qualms about it but I'll try not to abuse). My intention is to balance a bit of everything: dark themes, action, adventure, humour and some angst. We'll se how that turns out.
- There won't be any pairings, I think. Not explicit at least because it isn't the point of this story. I've a pairing in mind but they have no place here, if I decide to write anything about them it'll be done separately.

I'll try not to drag the time in-between chapter for too long. I can only promise and try as the teachers are not known for being very merciful to us poor souls.

EXTENDED SUMMARY:
Hojo found another specimen, one strong and dangerous enough to defend itself, except for one time. He soon discovered its cells killed everything, even Jenova cells, so he lost interest but send them to Hollander without explaining his discoveries, slightly interested in seeing what the other would do with the malicious cells and what consequences would occur with the one chosen to host those cells.
How will things change for Genesis when the effects start showing? How will a disembodied voice change things for him and the rest of Gaia? Will those changes be for better or worse?
