Day in the Life

"Come on Beast Boy, move over!" Cyborg spoke to Beast Boy, but his eyes were on the screen. They were playing a racing game on the Game station.

"Gotta catch up before I can do that Cy! Ha ha ha ha ha!" Beast Boy had a look of power and a huge grin as he started the 4th lap.

"Grrr… When I catch up to you, grass stain…." Cyborg's thumbs flew across the controller. His ship was gaining.

Just then, Robin entered ops. "Hey guys. You're up early," Robin walked toward the kitchen and got a few eggs out of the fridge.

Beast Boy grinned. "Yeah, its been forever since I sat down and played a game. We were in Tokyo for a long time. Hey!" Just then, Cyborg got a speed boost, and whizzed past Beast Boy.

"Boo-yah! Guess who's coming in first?" Cyborg started the final lap, and called to Robin. "Yeah, usually Star's the first one up. How come your girlfriend's not up yet?"

"She's not my-!" Robin had been teased by Cyborg before, but this time, Cy spoke the truth. "Er…um…yeah. I don't know. She didn't get much sleep while we were over there. You can just plug in your battery and your good to go."

"Yeah, and you're a bird of the night. We can handle it. Hey, yeah. How are you up this early on a Saturday, BB?" Cyborg looked at him. Then his jaw dropped when he looked back at the screen.

"Same answer to how I beat you!" Beast Boy crossed the finish line. "Unbelievable!"

The door opened. Starfire and Raven walked in.

"Oh, good morning friends! And good morning to you, Robin!" She flew over and kissed him on the cheek. He cringed at first, but quickly eased into it.

"What she said," Raven walked to a chair and opened up a book.

"Good. I'm glad you two are up. We need to plan what we're doing for the future. We've got the East tower set up, and the North, South, and West towers under construction. They're almost finished. Which means the teams are moving in. Red Star, Kole, and Gnark are moving into the North tower," he paused to check on his scrambled eggs. They were almost done. "Kid Flash and Jynx are moving into the South tower with Hotspot and Argent. We need to find a few more members for both of those teams, and find a whole new team for the West tower."

Raven interrupted, "Are you sure we can trust Jynx? With her and the whole 'Used to be a bad guy' and all?"

Robin replied. "Everyone deserves a second chance, Raven. You gave me one, and Terra probably wouldn't have saved the city if Beast Boy hadn't trusted her."

Beast Boy put down his controller and sighed.

Robin had finished making his eggs. He was just about to take a bite of them, when the alarm went off.

Starfire checked the computer. "Trouble! It's the Mumbo Jumbo! He is robbing another bank."

Raven sighed. "Again?"

"I guess the planning will have to wait. Titans! Go!"

They ran out of ops at lightning speed, like they had done it a thousand times.
