Dear Diary,

Have you ever wondered what life would be like if you were trapped in a bottle? In my opinion, it would be the exact same as my life right now! A total suckfest! All I am allowed to do is wake up, go to school, come home then go to bed. It sucks big time. You would think having a Slayer as a big sister would have its advantages. It so doesn't. All it does is make mum worry way too much about me to the point where I'm not allowed to do anything. Plus the 'I'm tough. I can look after myself' doesn't work, because evil things have 'super strength!' Besides it's not like Buffy scares them anyways. I would totally be safer on my own. Life just sucks when you're me!

If only I was the one with the superpowers! I would be way cool. I would totally say some witty comment like 'I'm Dawn and guess what! Your History!' Then I would fully do some fancy kicks and stake em! But Buffy's all 'Oh no! Why do you have to mess up my hideous hair! I hate slaying I just want to look ugly!' She is a total wimp when it comes to slaying. I'd be like 'Come and get it Big Boy!' But no she had to be the Chosen One. She is like the biggest pain. They couldn't have chosen someone cooler like me for instance. I would totally be a better Slayer than Buffy!

Speaking of Buffy I think she just came home now. Something about saving the world again! She doesn't get how lucky she really is. She is able to go out at any time and hang out at the Bronze. I so wished I was allowed to do that! And she gets to hang out with the coolest guy ever – Xander!

I so wished Xander would notice me, he is the nicest guy ever. Whenever he comes around he always talks to me. He never treats me like a little kid, which I am so not by the way. I have been told I am very mature for my age! I bet Buffy doesn't get told that!

I do wish I had some sort of superpower though. It would be kinda cool. I think Willow knows some magic, maybe I could ask her if she can teach me some. Then ill turn Buffy into a bat! – WAIT no way theyre creepy ok how about a chicken! That would be funny as.

But I guess for now I just have to be happy for being me. I can totally get abck at Buffy when I'm old enough to be allowed to do things. Besides I did ruin her sweater that she dosnt know I have so I think I got back enough for now… maybe. It is fun finishing the milk before she gets any. Lol!

Well I have a trailer full of homework to do (really I do!) so I'm gonna go for now! Talk to you later!
