A yellow pegasus stallion was walking into ponyville "This new town sure is scary" he thought not looking where he was going. He then bumped into a yellow pegasus mare who looked just like him, which caused the poor mare to drop her bags. "Oh my goodness I am so sorry. Here let me help you with that miss." said the stallion. "No i-it's ok i've got it." said the mare. "No please i made you drop your bags in the first place" said the stallion, bending down to pick up her items. "Thank you so much for your help mister." said the mare, embarrassed to not know the stallion's name "Butterscotch" said the stallion.
the mare then kissed him on the cheek and flew off happily. The mare then flew home to her cottage by the river to feed her animals "Oh wait, I forgot to tell Butterscotch my name." said the mare, who then flew back to the town to meet up with butterscotch who was frozen in the middle of the town square blushing. "Um Butterscotch." said the mare to the frozen in time stallion. Butterscotch then snapped out of his love induced trance to look the mare in the eyes "Y-y-y-yes?" stuttered the stallion "I never did catch your name miss." said the stallion. "My name is Fluttershy." said the mare to Butterscotch. "Oh. Well nice to meet you Fluttershy." said the stallion, who had actually had something to give to the mare but couldn't give it to her there. "Um can we go to your home for a minute Fluttershy?" asked the stallion.
"O-ok" answered the mare. They then flew to her home and she flew in but he walked in after she landed. Once he did he had accidentally tripped over something and landed on top of the mare, accidentally kissing her on her lips.
He then released from the kiss, blushing. He then asked her on a date, she then told him to wait there whilst she did something in her room. She then begun putting on her best evening gown but her hands wouldn't fit through the holes for the arms. "Um, Butterscotch?" asked the mare "yes fluttershy?" asked the stallion "Could you go to my friend rarity's boutique and ask for a suit for you and a new evening gown for me?" asked the mare "ok" said the stallion who then flew to the carousel boutique "hello?" asked the stallion "is anyone here?" a white unicorn mare walked up in front of butterscotch "What can i help you with sir?" asked the unicorn "Oh, well I need a suit for my date with-" before the stallion could finish the mare pulled him into her workroom "SAY NO MORE!" she said, already starting on the design for the suit and putting it together "VOILA!" she held out a green suit perfectly put together and handed it to butterscotch "Here you are, sir... WAIT! i never got your name" "My name's butterscotch" said the stallion "well it is very nice to meet you, butterscotch. I am rarity." "nice to meet you rarity" "who do you have a date with?" "Fluttershy" said the stallion "OH, THAT IS MARVELOUS! Fluttershy is one of my best friends" "well that's good to know, so how much do i owe you?" "since you are going out with Fluttershy, for you. Free of charge" "Really?" "Yes, of course. Someone to get her out of her shell is perfect for her in my book." "She also said she needs a new evening gown" the mare already knew he was going to say that and finished it before he could say it "Way ahead of you." she gave him the gown and he flew back to fluttershy's home, putting on the suit on the way there and giving her the gown when he got there"Here you go" fluttershy snatched it out of his hand and put it on in 1/2 of the time it took rainbow dash to clear the sky once "Let's get going" said the mare
