Haseo knew Yata was watching him. He was ALWAYS watching him. Whether in that 'Serpent of Lore' or in his party, Haseo could never shake off the feeling of Yata's deep intense eyes staring him down. That guy just wouldn't leave him alone. 'He must be really persistent...' Haseo had thought once.
Even now, as he and Silabus dashed forward and performed a combo attack in some random forest dungeon, Haseo could feel Yata watching his every move. As the enemy finally collapsed to the ground in a heap, Silabus smiled and exclaimed, "HEY, WE DID IT, HASEO!" Haseo grinned and nodded in response, the feeling of being watched still crawling up his spine. It was both a disturbing, and comforting, feeling.
"So...what do we do next, Haseo?" Gaspard asked as he walked up to his two friends, a smile evident on his furry face. If things were different, Haseo would have had ended the adventure and pay Yata a personal visit. If things were different, he would have been with Yata at this very moment. Yet...things were not different.
"I don't know...we cleared out all the enemies on this floor...I guess we should just head down to the bottom..." Haseo muttered, his mind obviously on other things. Noticing the distressed look on their leader's face, Silabus and Gaspard just nodded and ran off ahead to find the stairs to the next level.
Looking up into the virtual black sky above him and shouted, "Are you watching me, Yata? I bet you are! Well, I have something to say to you! I...I..." Suddenly, the sound of someone teleporting emitted from behind him.
Spinning around, Haseo saw Yata standing before him with a smirk on his face. "Y-Yata..." Haseo breathed, unsure whether to believe his own eyes. Yata chuckled to himself and asked, "What's wrong, Haseo? Didn't you...have something to say to me?Well...now you can say it to my face..."
Slowly, a grin formed on Haseo's lips. "What I wanted to say," he replied, "Was...was that I need you...in my life..." Yata walkd up to Haseo and placed one big hand on the Adept Rogue's shoulder. Taking off his glasses, Yata stared deep into Haseo's eyes as he quietly replied, "I need you too, Haseo..."
Of course, Pi wasn't happy about any of this.
A/N: I DO NOT like Haseo X Yata. It's just a weird crack pairing that came up in my mind after seeing the special 'Together Forever' ending with Yata, where Haseo says he 'needs' him. Plus, I'm a Yata fan.
Do NOT expect much yaoi from me, either! I am a yuri man!
