A/N: This was inspired by a pic i saw on facebook. So...enjoy!

"Mommy, I wanna go see santa!" five year old Annabelle Lennox exclaimed as she saw the lineup to see santa at the mall. Sarah smiled at her daughter's excitement. She nodded her head.

"Okay sweetie, we'll go see santa. After that, we're gonna go get you new clothes for school." she said, leading her daughter to the slowly growing lineup in front of the Mall Santa. Time seemed to drag on and on for little Annabelle, and what seemed like forever later, it was her turn. Happily, she clambered onto Santa's lap, and he handed her a small pink candy-cane.

"Well hello there!" the Santa exclaimed with a hearty laugh. "And what's your name?"

"Annabelle." she said shyly.

"And what do you want for christmas, Annabelle?"

Slowly, the grin on her face faded, and she got a little bit sad.

"I want my daddy to come home. He's a soldier in the army, and I miss him. I just want daddy back for Christmas." she confessed, tears welling in her eyes. The santa's eyes suddenly lit up.

"Now now, don't cry, Annabelle. You're daddy's gonna be home for christmas. In fact...I think he's here right now."

Quite suddenly, one William Lennox appeared from behind the santa, a bouquet of flowers in one hand, and a small gift-wrapped box in another. Both Sarah and Annabelle gasped.

"Daddy!" Annabelle squealed, drawing the attention of the other shoppers as she ran towards her father, hugging his legs. Sarah reached him a moment later, and was hugging her husband tightly. Some people were smiling at the cute scene, others were snapping pictures and recording videos. When Sarah let go of him, Will handed her the flowers, and picked his little daughter up in his arms. She laughed happily, but tiny tears were drawing lines down her cheeks as she hugged Will again, apparently with no intention of letting go anytime soon. He didn't seem to mind.

"I missed you daddy.." Annabelle whispered with a hiccup into her father's neck.

"I missed you too, baby-girl. I missed you and mommy so much.." he said, pulling Sarah in for another hug. There were a few 'Aw's from passerbys and even more camera-snapping and video-recording. The Lennox's were oblivious though, as they were completely absorbed in their first face-to-face reunion in the past two years. The santa was laughing again, but the children in the line began becoming impatient. So, with a sigh, he resumed his job. He continued shooting little glances at the reunited family though, until they left the mall several minutes later.

"Merry Christmas indeed." he murmured.
