97 years ago, the world's nuclear superpowers went to war, leaving the rest of the world to find a way to escape nuclear Armageddon. Thirteen nations came together, putting old rivalries aside and formed the ARK space station. The thirteenth station however, did not listen to the rules set by the new council and was destroyed by the security forces of the ARK.

now 97 years into the future, the ARK is nearing its breaking point, there are few people who know about it. My mother and father both knew as well as i, they were killed as they tried to tell the public of the truth. I however was 15 at the time, not old enough to kill, and was thrown into jail with the rest of the delinquents of the ARK. My name is Clarke "wolverine" Griffin and this is my story.

Day 422 of jail sentence,

The small cell held only one prisoner, the most dangerous female prisoner in the ARK;s history, Clarke "Wolverine" Griffin. There were black stains all over the wall, some would simply think it was paint, but Griffin knew it was something a lot more sinister in nature. For the first time in 97 years, a person had the black blood coursing through her veins in her family. Her father told her the black blood was a sign of strength and the will to live in her family. The black blood gene was passed from her father who could trace his lineage back to the leader of the thirteenth station, who was taken from his mother before the ARK security forces destroyed the station.

There was a reason they called her "Wolverine" though. Clarke's mother performed an operation on Clarke when she was twelve years old, giving her miraculous healing abilities as well as enhancing Clarke's own given gene mutation. All citizens have a gene mutation that the family is famous for, for an example, the Green family could sense electrical currents and electron manipulation. The Blake family is famous for their incredible ability of super speed exceeding speeds of twenty miles per hour. The Griffins however were a powerhouse of ability. Clarke's mother had the regeneration and bone blades gene, while her father gave her almost superhuman strength, not unlike a certain comic book from the old world. Clarke's procedure left her with metal replacing her bone skeleton and allowing her to extend metal claws out of both of her hands.

" Prisoner 319, prepare for transport." a disembodied voice rang through her cell as she woke from her slumber. The cell door hissed as several guards marched in and grabbed me and then proceeded to me drag down the corridor. Following my entourage were several more prisoners, being dragged in a similar fashion as myself towards a drop ship. A. sense of fear shot through my body. As we got closer, i started to struggle between the arms of the guards. There standing at the doorway of the drop ship, was Chancellor Jaha. The man responsible for the death of my parents. My claws, which had not been used in two years, extended as i lunged at the murdering bastard who tore my family apart. The guards reactions were immediate, the guards grabbed my arms as the chancellor jumped back, out of my reach. " you murdering bastard!" I screamed as a needle was jammed into my neck and rendering me unconscious. Just as i went under, i heard the bastard say, " send her bag with her... we don't need to contaminate the station anymore."
