The wind is pulling at my hair. The rain is pelting down on me with out a single hope of letting up. I can barely see whats in front of me, but I know he's there. I can feel him. His aura... Chasing me... hunting me down.
I am so close now, I can almost taste my freedom, his freedom... our freedom...
I can hear him now. I can picture the angry red of his eyes. I can taste the fury that's radiating off him. The fear of his rage begins to stir in my blood. Making me run even faster.
Finally the Kami grant me a break. My hand touches the lip of the well. Sighing in relief I grab hold and prepare to jump over the side.
"Miko, where do you think you are going?" His voice stops me dead in my tracks. How could he have caught up to me so quickly? He was at least a day behind me! As if he was reading my thoughts he snarled "Did you really think you could escape me so easily Ka-go-me? This Sesshomaru is too great a demon to be tricked by your petty little paper doll" with each word he steps closer.
I slowly edged my way closer to the well. "no Sesshomaru, I didn't think I could trick you. I knew you would catch on the second you smelled my doll, but i needed the time." I look into his eyes. They show no emotion, his mask doesn't falter even once, but i know he's beyond angry. I can feel his fury. If i can just keep him busy long enough I can still escape. Please Kami, please let me escape this monster. I silently plead.
Suddenly he's right in front of me Grabbing me by the throat. His face so closed to mine i can taste his fury "You know what happens to a female when she doesn't listen to her mate? She gets punished" My face loses all of its colour. I know that my hope for freedom is gone. I am sorry mamma I tried to come home. I am sorry Inuyasha I could not escape, even after your sacrifice. Tears start to fall down my cheeks.
"Your thinking if him again aren't you?" He snarled in my face. "I will have to rectify that immediately"
He began to remove his kimono, My fear spikes, I know that in my heart I will never escape this monster that holds me captive.
My screams of pain are heard all through out the forest. True to his promise I will never think of Inuyasha again.
A young man with silver hair and cute dog ears stands beside a tall man with similar features as him. "Father, why couldn't she escape him? Can't he see he doesn't deserve her? Why can't I go back and help her? What did she do so wrong that she must be punished by being mated to that BASTARD!" "Inuyasha my son. We must never question what the Kami have fated. That little miko is stronger then she seems. She will overcome your brother. He will learn to love her, hopefully before he kills her and the child she carries. Have faith my son. All will become clear real soon." " Keh! I really hope your right Father"
