Taia's POV
I heard howls rip through the night. "Crap." I hissed jumping out of my bed. My cousin, Leah was also up. I smiled at her, then we ran out, phasing. Why did you have to wake me up? I thought. It's important. Jake said. There is a new member of the pack. And Seth imprinted. He explained. Who's the new member? Leah asked. Her name is Katrina. Seth thought. A medium black wolf slipped out of the trees, panting. Jacob! Bella needs the packs help…attack. She thought. Images were flashing through her head. A raven-haired vampire and Alice fighting furiously. Bella and Renesmee running into the forest. Edward was Fighting alongside Jasper and Emmet, against a Strawberry blonde vampire whose eyes glinted a color I'd never seen on a vampire before, violet. Then we took off, and Katrina was strangely very fast. She was neck to neck with Leah. When we got there, Jacob ordered Katrina and I to Protect Bella and Nessie. We were almost to the cottage when Katrina shoved me down the hill we were on. I got up, and saw Katrina's limp form on the base of the hill. A reheaded vamp was preparing to rip her apart. I jumped on the redhead, and took care of her. Katrina tried to get up, but fell back down, yelping. I'll come back. I told her, then took off in the direction of the cottage. Katrina and Taia, come back now battles over. Jacob thought. Uh, we can't do that. I think Katrina broke some ribs. I told Jake. WHAT? Seth mentally screamed. We were running up a hill, and I didn't notice a vampire that was about to hit me, and Katrina shoved me out of the way. She got hit in the side. I sensed Seth phasing. I phased. As did Katrina. Katrina didn't move, just stayed on the ground. "Are you really Quilute?" I asked. "No." She panted. "Then how are you a werewolf?" I asked. "French." Was all she said, then she passed out. I saw wolf-Seth, and Carstlile. One look at Carstlile's face told me I was right about the broken ribs. "Seth… please get Jacob" He said quietly. Seth sped off. "Taia, do you know you're near one of the most dangerous species of werewolf's right now?" Carstlile asked me.
