Today Isn't Any Other Day
"The rule is, jam to-morrow and jam yesterday – but never jam to-day" - 'The Queen', 'Through the Looking Glass', Lewis Carroll

A/N: 'Spelling' has a seriously unexpected consequence. Loosely based on a true story! For MeAzrael.
Subconscious Suggestion
"But I didn't mean to kill him," whined the amateur witch. "I only wanted to persuade him to give me a raise."
"What did you do to him?"
"It was just a simple suggestion spell."
Dean looked ready to gank her, but Sam took another probing glance around the office.
"Your boss's clock is German," said Sam, noting the three-lettered, abbreviated display for the day of the week.
"Yeah, he brought it back from a recent vacation."
"And he died on a Tuesday?"
The witch and Dean nodded, looking at him in confusion.
"Tuesday?" prompted Sam. "In German, that's Dienstag..."

A/N: Castiel applies for a different day. Mild spoilers for seasons 6 & 7.
Angelic Application
"This must be Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays" - 'Arthur Dent', 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy', Douglas Adams.
"So. Castiel, you used to be the Angel of Thursday," said Naomi.
"That's correct," said Castiel, sitting himself even more upright.
"Hmmm. I notice that your reassignment to Friday never really seemed to take off."
Castiel's cheeks colored and he looked down in embarrassment. "It started well," he argued, "but I think people were hoping there'd be a bit more of my involvement..."
"I've certainly had a number of complaints about the whole 'Emmanuel' debacle."
"Yes, I admit that didn't make a whole lot of sense."
"I'm going to have to give serious consideration to this new application for Wednesday."
