'Look at me...'

She was far beyond trying to gain his trivial attention. Now she could only stare ahead, livid green eyes filled with a solid self doubt which clouded her delicate facial features with a dark demeanor. She had often willed him with her mind if nothing else, to only look at her...

But, he never did.

------------------------------------------

She could never delve deep enough into her warped mind to discover the power which controlled her emotions towards him. There was no reason for her gaze to linger on his soft pink lips or his silky mane of azure blue hair. It was... irrelevent.

Besides, he could never return her feelings. Not truly, anyway.

He was only a nobody

------------------------------------------

"Zexion," Her voice hovered in the air, a shivering shroud in the dense world of nobodies, "Do you believe in...love?"

"...Why would I?" His words were as hollow as bitter acid, stinging her soul at the very core.

"Yes... why indeed would you? After all, were just nobodys. You and I... the whole Organization... nothing." A smile filled with nothing but sorrow and the doubts of a human scorned, crossed her face in mockery of her emotions that should not have existed in the first place. Who was she to contradict a theaory that had been provn fact? Her species did not feel... it was that utter truth, a bile rising in her throat, that stopped her from saying it that very day. What she felt.

------------------------------------------

Every day. Every passing moment... he was their. Was there no repreive? This scarred beating in her chest, this... this... premonition of being something. It was a useless feeling. The kind that instructed her to carry things out, to unfold lost plans stuffed away into the far corners of her mind. She did not want it.

He passed her by. His raven cloak grazing her skin with rigid memory as he walked. His mere presence was excruciating. It felt as if no breathe filled her lungs. She felt nervous.

And even as he walked on, his feet hollow grasps on the ground, she cried with frustration lacing her words, constricting her tone, "I love you..." but, he never stopped. Never even glanced back at her. Her voice became but an echo, balancing against the walls, and reaching ears that wouldnt ever truly hear her.

Why had she expected any different?
