K, my second attempt at a fanfic. To anyone who cares i took down the last one in its first chapter cuz it just didn't feel right, nothing really to build to. To answer any questions this'll be a NaruXFemHaku fic like the last time cuz i love that pairing. And uhh...yeah i don't own Naruto or Sakura would've been mauled by a pack of racoons by now.
EYES SO KEEN, Prologue: I Hate You
'No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!' a small blonde haired boy, several years of age ran quickly through the moonlit streets of Konoha. Not far behind, a mob of people, each waving some form of weapon in their hands, chased after him as if he were an escaped animal
"KILL THE DEMON! THERE'S NOT MANY PLACES LEFT HE CAN HIDE!" yelled a chunin leveled shinobi. The mans shouts had obviously riled the crowd farther, as they instantly picked up their pace.
Taking to the alleys the boy need only make it as far as the hokage tower, beyond there he would be safe 'A little bit farther!' thought the boy desperately as he darted past a garbage can, knocking it over with a loud crash
"THERE HE IS! HE'S HEADING TO THE HOKAGE'S TOWER!" the villagers efforts tripled, and in no time they had the blonde cornered at a dead end
"Dead end, brat" said a man angrily as he fashioned a kunai. The blade glistened threateningly in the moons rays as he lifted it above his head. In a downward slash he cut the boy deeply, blood now heavily pouring out 'No, no, no, no, no!!' the child tried frantically to cover the wound with his small hands, but to no avail. The blood if possible came out faster forming a small pool around him
"C'MON EVERYONE! THIS KIDS NOT GOING TO DIE FROM ONE HIT" as if to answer his shout the wound began to close with a sickening sizzling sound. The villagers began kicking and stabbing the boy who, despite his situation could only panic 'No, no, no, NO! THEY'RE GOING TO LET IT OUT!!' A large burly man wielding a butchers knife laughed cruelly as he spit upon the boys face
"The matter brat? You remembering the night you took everything from us? Huh?! YOU FINALLY ADMITTING TO WHAT YOU'VE DONE??"
Finally the boy spoke, his face almost completely covered in blood "I…I haven't done anything to you…I only wante-" he was interrupted with a kick to the face
"Shut up you brat! We're gonna make sure you die tonight!" in a roar of cheers four muscular men moved forward towards the prone child, each holding down a limb
"If you can't see then maybe well have to make you!" the man to his right pulled a kunai from the holster near his thigh and held it to his right eye. The blonde haired boy screamed in pain, kicking and twisting in the grip of the men around him as his eye was carved out completely
"I….I HATE YOU ALL!!" and with that darkness took him.

The Kyubi no Yoko scoffed as he watched the idiot villagers walk away, leaving him to heal his worthless lump of meat of a container
'Tch, useless human! Can't even fight off a small group of drunken morons…'
The great demon looked down upon the image of his brutally beaten host
'Hmm, 'I hate you all' huh? There's some potential there though…in fact…'
Using his demonic chakra Kyubi materialized a scroll in the fallen boys arms, his blood merely slid off the ornate scrolls surface without so much as leaving a stain
'Feh, I've done my part. Probably more than those pitiful meat sacks will ever do.' and with one last glare the demon promptly fell asleep, knowing full well the kid needed his chakra more than he did.
