uh, hi, I'm writing for Shugo Chara! again. This drabble kind of goes all over the place, though.

(Do you guys see the new font it does not work well with me no it does not.)

Shugo Chara! and Shugo Chara! Encore are disclaimed.

As manager, Yukari had to make sure Utau was always in her best form and putting on the best performances. She had to get rid of any and every distraction. And if there's anything that's common knowledge in showbiz, it's that relationships are the biggest distractions and destructions to a career.

So when Utau left hurriedly after rehearsals more often to meet that Souma boy over a bowl (or many) of ramen, Yukari was more than wary. She sincerely hoped it was only as friends, but she knew she was wrong once Utau started gazing longingly at her phone at least 5 times each hour. Utau wasn't as focused; but when she was, she was overzealous. It was ruining her slowly.

It wasn't right.

Yukari's first plan of action was to stop it at the roots. She was going to meet with that Souma kid and tell him straight out that it would never work. And she's Utau's manager, so it should be fine. At least, that's what Yukari thought.

Until she saw what was really going on. She hadn't meant to look over Utau's shoulder; she was merely passing by while Utau was in her own world.

Utau wasn't waiting to receive a message. She was waiting to send about twenty.

What shocked Yukari most, though, was that it was like looking at a younger version of her self.

Plans were then altered, and she arranged to meet with the guy that could restore Utau's zeal if he played his cards right. Yukari knew she had to let Utau go.

Because, she realized, their love stories were so similar, and she didn't want Utau to suffer years like she did.

But Souma Kukai did his job well.

Utau was a butterfly in a labyrinth, and all butterflies had to be let free someday.
