She is a monster. Half-snake, half-human. Hideous scales, deadly claws, and a tail instead of legs. She hadn't always been like this. She was beautiful once. Long, soft brown hair, emerald green eyes, mischievous facial features and a fit body that most girls were jealous of.

People said that she was prettier than her older sister, Katarina. But, the redhead didn't care much about her appearance anyway. She was more interested in playing with knives.

With her looks and charms, she could easily make any man fall for her. Soldiers, generals, politicans, it didn't matter. Eventually, they all came crawling back. And so, she used that power of hers to extract information. That was how she served Noxus back then, and, even though it wasn't the most noble of duties, she actually enjoyed it.

That was until the curse.

A curse that couldn't be lifted.

He was a barbarian, one from those tribes of the north, from the Freljord. He seemed normal: there wasn't anything odd about him. Well, maybe the sword he carried was distracting. It was an unusual weapon, one that Cassiopeia had never seen before. Its blade was forged into a snake-like shape, and its handle had also a snake head designed on it. But it didn't bother her.

Even when he asked her to swear that she wouldn't reveal his tribes' plans to anyone, she didn't ask why. However, when she gave the information away, immediately she felt... different. That was when the curse of the sword striked her. Her flawless skin had now turned into harsh scales, her nails became long, bestial claws, even her silky hair that she was once proud of, was now gone.

The transformation was painful. One of the moments she wanted to forget. But now she couldn't serve Noxus in the same way as before. Not like this.

She decided to fight in the Fields of Justice. Her new powers were stronger: poison, claws, more poison, turning them into stone. But, occasionally, she would think of her old self and the times that she was pretty.

After all, she was like a scaly Ahri.
