A bit of Son love

Goku sat cross-legged on the floor, meditating. Well, at least pretending to. In truth, he was watching his wife work from under lowered eyelids. He did that a lot. He liked doing it. He loved doing it. He loved her. He loved her beyond words. He loved her so much that he would do anything for her. Even purge planets.

He said as much to Vegeta when the Prince rhetorically asked him if there was anyway, anybody could make him do something like that. Vegeta had narrowed his eyes at him and than burst out laughing. Telling him that it was just typical of a third class baka like him to bond. Goku had wondered what he meant.

Vegeta had sighed and told him to sit down. Than Vegeta explained to him the concept of bonding. He told him that it was when the soul of a Saiyain got fused with another. He told him that it was when a Saiyain was destined to spend eternity with his mate. He told him that it was when the two people were joined together for eternity. He told him that he was too dense to understand it properly.

But Goku thought that he did understand. Whenever he touched her body he felt as if he was touching her soul. He did not fear death. It wasn't so bad. But he did miss being with Chichi. That was the only bad part about dying. He sighed. The androids where coming in a couple of months. The androids had been able to destroy all his friend according to Trunks. He wondered if he would be able to return to Chichi after the battle with the artificial humans. Chichi walked within reach of him. Well if he could not return he was going to make sure he left her something other than Gohan. With that thought Goku reached over and dragged Chichi to him. There were a lot of things he did not like about his Saiyain ancestors but bonding was not one of them.
