Yes, Austin was the guy who I had a crush on, and who was EXTREMELY childlike. I mean, have you seen how crazy he is? But sometimes he does calm down, like when he took me to the whale watch the other day. Speaking of him, here he comes now.
"Hey Ally! You finished the new song yet?"
"Well, I've got one, but I'm not sure you'll like it. It's kind of… personal."
I was seriously hoping he would decline it, because it's obvious the song was about him.
"Well, do you trust me?"
"Of course!"
"Then may I hear the song?"
Well, I couldn't decline it, so I had to.
Hesitatingly, I responded. "Fine."
Meet me down by the whale watch,
Austin POV
Okay, I've heard one line, and I think it's about me. If only she had feelings for me…
Ally POV
I think Austin could already tell it was about him, but I kept on going.
Meet me down by the sea,
Meet down at Coney Island,
We'll go out on the sea.
Okay. That's it. I have to stop. It's getting too close to where he would KNOW it was about him.
"T-That's all I have, Austin."
Austin POV
Well, I've heard the first verse, and I 'm pretty sure it's about me.
"What's the title?"
"Lover is Childlike"
"Oh…"
Well, now I KNOW it's about me.
"W-who's it about?"
Ally POV
Who's it about? I guess he figured out it was about him.
"I got to go."
I ran out of the room.
"Ally!"
I stopped just before the stairway, after I felt his hand grab mine. Wait. He grabbed my hand, not my wrist. Why didn't he grab my wrist? I hoped he couldn't feel the electricity that I just felt. Well, being hypnotized by him, I went with him back to the practice room.
"Please answer me."
"What?"
"Who's it about?"
"You.." I mumbled
I was about run, when he kissed me. Obviously, I kissed back. After what seemed like hours, we broke apart.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Of course!"
"YAY!" He yelled and started jumping up and down like a maniac.
I got the childlike part right.
