He often remembers her song. Though it had no words, his cherished Belle's sweet voice humming and whistling as she worked through his castle often haunts Rumpelstiltskin's mind. He hums it as he sits alone, fireside, on a cold, dark night. He whistles it as he walks through the woods alone. He whispers a few notes in the hospital, hoping desperately, and failing yet again, to jog her memory. He sings it often, all the while hoping Belle will sing it again for he's never heard or seen anything lovelier than his beloved singing and looking at him in love.
