BAMF First Years Chapter 3
James was now in his 3rd year with his friends, and was a star pupil. He was the seeker on the Gryffindor quidditch team, some even went as far to describe that he was better than his father! He got lots of house points for Gryffindor, and was still best friends with Cass, Chrys, Penny and Kyle. His favourite teacher was Prof. Flitwick, because he was always giving him good grades, making his mother and father extremely pleased. And now his little brother Albus Severus was going to the school. "Hey Al." James said, walking out of the Gryffindor common room and bumping in to his little brother. "Hey James. I met a girl today, I really like her, and I think she likes me too. Her name is Sepherene." Al said. And James smiled. "Good for you. I need to get to class, see you later." He said, patting his brother's shoulder, and walking down one of the staircases. He was now 13, and having the time of his life. He continued on his way down the stairs when he heard a loud noise, which sounded like a hiss. Chrys walked past him and he grabbed her by the arm, "Do you hear that?" He said, and she shook her head confusedly. He tutted and started walking to the direction of the noise, which lead him to the 2nd floor girl's bathroom. He walked in and was lead to a snake engraved sink in the middle of the room, and it began to open. "Wow, this must be... The chamber of secrets!" He breathed, and walked down the winding steps. The lights went out and all was dark, until he pulled out his wand. "Lumos." He said, and a beam of light came from the tip of his wand. He walked down a long path and came to a big room. The hissing grew louder and he realised it was no longer in his head, it was with him in the room, and whatever it was cast a big shadow over him. He turned and saw a giant snake like serpent, 50 ft long with green skin and yellow eyes. It let out a giant screech and lunged at him. It was crushing his ribs, its long tail having knocked his wand flying through the air. He didn't hear it clatter to the floor and looked over to see Kyle jump in the air, grab the wand, spin around and point it at the basilisk. "Everte Statum!" He said, and the basilisk went flying through the air, crashing in to the wall and falling to the floor. It curled up on the floor and Kyle ran over to James. "Are you OK? Did it hurt you or anything?" He asked. James propped himself up on his elbows and winced. "No, didn't hurt me. Wait, how did you know I was here?" He asked curiously. Kyle looked at the basilisk then James then said. "I saw you walk in to the girl's bathroom, and was wondering why you were going in there, so I followed you, and when you went down, I stayed for a moment then walked down, and saw that thing on top of you." Kyle helped James to his feet and they walked back up the winding stairs and reappeared in the bathroom. They snook outside and walked to the paved courtyard, where they met up with Chrys and Cass. "What happened to you? You look awful." Cass said, glancing at James. He laughed and said, "Well thanks. I was attacked by a basilisk." Kyle and Chrys stared at him and Kyle said, "That's what that thing was? I heard they're pretty dangerous, so I guess you owe me." He smiled. James laughed again and stopped abruptly. "I just realised. It's our last day in 3rd year. We're leaving today." They all gasped and nodded in agreement. "It's gone so fast." Cass said. They all started laughing and joking, and walked away, all giggling. And the year was finished. -To Be Continued in 5th year-
