Lily wandered through the halls of Howarts. She had never felt so human before. She had deceived herself multiple different ways and there was no one that wasn't hurt by her actions. All she could do was continue on. Was it alright to ask for forgiveness? She didn't think so. What she had done there was no repair and no way to move on. Not that she saw. People wouldn't forgive her. Even if she did, her family would not. It took only a small thing to grow up, but the small thing was too hurtful to recover from and this is where she realized how selfish and bratty she truly was.

Lily would forever walk the halls of Howarts. She was a ghost that could only live memories of the past. A past full of fun and hurt. Tumbling together at a speed un approachable to human touch. Events tumbling from this wreck. And while part of her was happy and peaceful, she knew that part of her was empty. A whole unable to be filled due to the pain she had caused. Who would have thought it would be so hard to apologize and still remain friends.

Things kept in rememberance of the heat of the moment. The moment she chose between what she thought was right and wrong, but in the end was a place she shouldn't have chosen. She should have remained true to Severus, she should have remained neutral. Instead she chose James.

How perfect her life was then and how perfect her life is now. She was loved in both, but pushed to far by one. Pushed too much she no longer had the fight. So instead of being a Griffyndor, she turned tail and ran the other way.

This was her life and her choice. Now she had to accept it. Severus would never be her friend again.
