A/N Middle River & Doctor.

River lay on her bed in her cell in storm cage thinking about the Doctor. Her Doctor. She only allowed herself to do that on certain occasions, if she thought about him too often she would probably do something stupid and if she didn't she would be constantly depressed. Not because they had bad times, which they did like any other couple but more because they had amazing times that no one else in the world could relate too. The Doctor was a crazy and wonderful man whom she loved with all her heart. But sometimes she really wished that they could both be normal even just for a second. At this point River decided she might as well wallow in her sadness and turned on her IPod. She began to sing along with the music not knowing she had an audience.

Tears began to fall slowly down River's face and she thought that she looked a mess, however the onlooker thought she looked absolutely beautiful, just like her voice.

River was overwhelmed by the memories of telling her Doctor who she truly was. That only made the tears fall faster.

Someone lightly kissed River on her forehead as soon as she had finished. Her eyes immediately snapped open. The Doctor sat down silently on the bed next to her and pulled the head phones out of her ears. He looked at her for a second before whispering "I know who you are, and I love you for that and I'm not going anywhere tonight" She smiled before he pulled her into a passionate kiss.
