Walking home from school was a girl, about 15, who had long curly blonde hair that flew by in the wind. She had jade green eyes that sparkled in the sunset and wore a grey school uniform.

Yawning, she looked at her watch. She had stayed after school until 7 to work on her homework and help out the teachers.

She stretched, then walked slowly towards her house, which seemed to be the largest on her street. It was two stories, and had a magnifacent balcony on the back.

She walked inside and closed the door, putting her bag on the ground and slumping on the couch. She lied back and smiled, then turned on the news.

"In recent news, a terrible attack on the popular character designer of Maromi, Tsukiko Sagi. "

She held her breath. Tsukiko was a friend of hers.

"We don't have much more on this, but when news comes, we will bring it to you."

RING!!!

The girl's home phone rang. She looked over, and reached for it. When her small fingers grabbed the reciever, she held it to her ear. "Hello, Kitane Residence."

"...HEY Madi, did you hear about the attack on Tsukiko Sagi? Thats really bad!!" a child-like voice said to her.

Madi sighed heavilly, and looked at the phone with a glare. "DON'T DO THAT, MAKO!!!" she screamed at the phone. Makoto Kozuka laughed and she could tell he was smiling. "So anyway, I'm gonna go back to my game now, Bye Mad!" he said as he hung up. Madi threw the phone down and sighed. Her best friend loved to scare her, and it usually worked. She looked around. "I wonder why Tsuki was attacked...It seems so strange..." she thought to herself and went upstairs to change. She put on a long red nightgown and pulled her hair into a ponytail. She sat in front of the television, watching an anime.

RING!!!!!

She sighed, picking up the phone again. "Hello, Kitane Residence." she said calmly.

"..." there was just heavy breathing. "Makoto, if this is you, Don't try and scare me." Madi was breathing heavilly. There were no firearms at her house, and her parents were dead from a fire 8 years ago. "..." there was still no reply. Madi's chest heaved as she panted, and glared at the phone. "Who the hell is it?" she yelled. "...Goodbye Madison." It was not Makoto's voice, but a darker voice. She threw the phone back onto the hook and stared at it. "Who was that?" she was scared.

A loud knock came from the door. "Wait. That sounded like glass..." she thought to herself, and turned to look at the stairs. The knock was coming from her room balcony.
