A Full Moon

It was a rather quiet night on Third Earth compared to some. The Thundercats were enjoying the rare peace and quiet while they could. The supper was over the fire, and nearby was a spring water pool they had stumbled upon on. They took shifts of who was to sit at the fire and take watch as another took their much needed bath.

Feline was the last to bathe as she volunteered to watch the two kits while Cheetara took her bath.

Currently the six cats were all busy around the fire. Panthro and Tygra were preparing the Thunder Tank as Cheetara was trying to get the kits to stay clean and out of trouble. Trying being the main word. For a moment the cheetah spared a quick, yet worried glance towards the direction of the water pool.

"She sure is taking long. "She spoke, worry obvious in her tone.

"She just wants to soak a little more." Willy Kit spoke as she sat near her brother, both of them eyeing the dinner that was cooking with hungry eyes.

"Maybe Lion o should check on her." Tygra suggested from under the tank.

"Why do I have to go?!" The younger brother exclaimed making the older slide out from the bottom of the tank and give his little brother a dead pan look.

"Because Panthro and I are fixing the tank and the last time you were with those two tiny devils, you caused a stampede."

A few moments of silence passed and finally Lion O spoke.

"I`ll go get her." He grunted and took the Sword of Omen, just in case.

As he passed through the bushes Lion O scowled.

"Since when did she became my problem." He muttered under his nose referring to Feline.

Soon enough he found the spring, but no sign of Feline. As worry started to replace the irritation as he looked around for her snow white fur. Just before panic seeped in he heard a gentle voice singing.

I pray you'll be our eyes
And watch us where we go
And help us to be wise
In times when we don't know

As we go our way
Lead us to a place, guide us with your grace
To a place where we'll be safe

Lion O was mesmerized by the song Feline was singing. And she was praying so that the Thundercats had a safe journey.

I pray we'll find your light
And hold it in our hearts
When stars go out each night
Remind us where you are

Feline hummed a little before starting up again.

I ask that life be kind
