Emily spent every minute of the helicopter ride debating her choice to leave her daughter so far away.

"Did you bring in any of the extra milk with her? I know you said you brought her one bottle but…" Emily started.

"Yeah, I brought 4 bottles worth of milk in with her and they always have formula if that's not enough." Assured Matt while he placed his hand on top of Emily's to try to calm her down.

"But the formula is never the healthiest for a baby, and it might upset her stomach." Protested Emily.

Matt had no clue how to respond to this, so he just leaned in and kissed her forehead lightly before whispering that Kayla would be just fine for the day.

"If not, they'll call us." He added.

"Do you have your cell on?"

"Yeah" said Emily as she looked down at her phone.

After what seemed like an eternity, the plane finally landed and they headed out to asses the situation and establish communications.

The plan was that Matt was going to be primary, as Emily was just coming back from maternity, but after reassessing the situation, Emily decided to take primary because Cheryl thought the HT would prefer to talk with a fellow new mom than an FBI agent who she couldn't relate to.

Although Emily was trying her hardest to concentrate on the situation at hand, it was hard for her to take her mind off Kayla.

"She's my baby. MY baby. I want her back. The government has no right to take her!" Shouted the HT into Emily's ear piece.

"I know that you love your baby. Think about what's best for her. Do you want her to be addicted to drugs to?" Attacked Emily.

That was it, the HT fired two shots into the air just to prove she could. Emily was about to lose it. All she wanted to do was fly back home and take Kayla back from Day Care, but at the rate things were going, she figured it would be days before she could see Kayla again. While all this was going on, Emily began to hear crying through her ear piece.

"I never meant to hurt her!" Pleaded the HT.

"I just want to take her home. I just want her home."

"And no one wants to stop you from taking her home, but the social workers have to look out for Sarah, do what's best for her. As soon as you show them that you have a good home they'll let you take her back, but they can't put her in danger." Emily protested.

The conversations continued on for three hours before Emily got a beep on her cell phone indicating another call. A wave of panic slipped over Emily as she gestured to Matt to answer her phone. She was sure it was the daycare.

"Agent Lehman's phone, agent Flannery speaking" Matt answered.

"This is healthy start daycare calling about Kayla." Said the voice on the other end.

"Is she okay?" Matt demanded as soon as it hit him what the call was in regards to. Meanwhile, Emily just stared at Matt, terrified about what was happening one her phone and through her earpiece.

"She's been spitting up a lot and we think she might have a mild fever. She should be just fine, its probably just a virus, but we can't let her stay and get the other children sick. Would it be possible for someone to come and pick her up?"

Matt sighed. It was the first time he had ever had a sick child, and the panic was instant and painful. He ran to find Cheryl and ask to go back to the main office. As he left Emily stared off at him as she continued to listen to the demented pleas of the high mother HT inside the building. Emily became more and more frusterated with her from keeping her away from her own child.
