"At last, home sweet home." Claire said to herself as she arrived inside her new farm home.

It needed much work beause it had once been abandoned by its owner for reasons that left the townsfolk to wonder. Claire had been living in the city for most of her life. She once lived on this farm when she was first born, But lack of money sent them to the city for new jobs. Now she is finally back home, to where she believes to belong to. She had a lonely life in the city after her parents passed away in a car accident. All she has left is her brother, Jack, And her sister, Jill, who both live on the farm in the next town over.

"I can't wait to meet the townsfolk again, after all these years!" she said excitedly to her young puppy, Clover. "Living in the city alone was hard. Now i'm finally where i belong."

She flopped on her bed then heard a sudden knock on the door. She quickly jumped up and rushed over to the door to greet whoever it might be. She gently opened the door and found a man with red tinted blond hair at her door. He was wearing a hat, it said 'UMA' which means the year of the horse in japanese, Meaning he's only a year older then her.

"Hello, I'm Claire. I just moved back here from the city. Nice to meet you!" she greeted softly.

"Uhm, Hey I'm Gray, I'm the blacksmith apprentice here. My grandpa Sent me here to greet you."

"Well, Mr. Gray, I'm delighted to meet you. You're welcome to come in if you want."

"No, no, I must get back to work before my grandpa strangles me." he gave a soft chuckle, Then started to walk away slowly. Out of the blue, a gust of wind blew and knocked away his hat. "Goddess! My hat!" The hat blew across the farm and landed in the river.

"Good Goddess!" Claire exclaimed as she walked over to the river. Claire quickly gave a little hop and into the water she goes. She shortly popped up out of the water after and snatched the hat from the rivers current. Gray rushed over to see what was going on.

"You didn't need to do that you know." Gray said, slightly blushing

"Of course i had to. It's called being nice." Claire said teasingly. She hopped up out of the river with the hat in her hands. "Here you go!" She said politely.

"Th-thanks." Gray replied nervously. 'No one has ever done that for me before...' His thoughts trailed off as he slowly found himself lost in her eyes.

"Uhm, Gray? Hello? Earth to Gray. GRAY!" Claire Said impatiently.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I was just off inside my mind somewhere. Well, thanks again foir the hat. See ya. He slowly walk away with his hat in his hands, thinking about how nice she was.

"Well, that was kind of awkward." Claire said to herself aloud. She walked back into her house to dry off. Once she dried offshe flopped onto her bead wondering about what just happened. 'Gray seems nice. He's also cute too. I wonder what he was thinking about when he totally spaced out. Well, i might never know.' Shortly after she fell into a deep slumber, awaiting a big day tomorrow.
