You're in the fringes between reality and a dream – because it has been such an unattainable goal that has seemed impossible countless times, but you still dream, of course.
Sasuke-kun is standing before you.
You think it's a dream.
Still, it's an impossibly vivid dream, where Sasuke has grown up and is something you've imagined, yet not imagined him to be (that twelve-year-old boys is forever sketched in your mind), the adrenaline and the wind - it feels so real that you think if you reach out, just reach out, you'll be able to touch him.
You don't dare to, however, because the dream always disappears whenever you do that – and you think you're better off if you can see him just a bit longer.
You think you must be a little slow on the uptake, because before you know it Sasuke and Naruto are talking, but you can't hear a thing – all you can see is Sasuke-kun.
Finally, things start moving again when he has a sword to Naruto, and the image turns ugly – suddenly you're breathing again, you're thinking clearly (this is a mission) and your heart wrenches.
You charge.
