Persistence

This is the Taiora one-shot I promised to do.

Tai and Sora were sitting on the roof of their apartment building. Sora was watching the clouds, and Tai was watching Sora.

Her eyes were rimmed red, and she didn't have the usual peaceful smile she got from looking up at the sky.

Tai had been so ready to accept that she liked Matt for her to be able to be happy, that he never thought that Matt might actually break up with her. Now Tai was back to being ready to kill him the first minute he saw him. Sora wasn't one to cry often, but who could blame her? This had come out of nowhere.

Who would've thought that one day Matt would actually fall for Jun?!

One day she's just another annoying obsessed fan girl, doesn't mean all that much to him. The next she's his girlfriend!

But even while dating Sora, Jun had never given up. Persistence was one thing Davis and his older sister had in common.

Although, if it had to be brought up, which Izzy enjoyed doing, Tai had never completely given up on Sora. But he'd never interfered with Matt and Sora being together.

Tai pried himself away from his thoughts and looked over at Sora. She didn't seem as upset as before, but she still didn't look happy. Tai could tell she was thinking now and the peacefulness seemed to be coming back to her.

Tai thought back to when they were little kids. He'd been classified as a daredevil and eager to live up to this title, he'd made Sora come up with him to this roof for the first time. Neither of them had been too fond of it at first. But Sora was determined to like heights. She loved staring up at the clouds from the ground and now that she'd kept coming back up she loved feeling this close to them.

Sora and Jun had both persisted and had found what they loved. So Tai wouldn't give up either.

This was a lot shorter than the Sorato one, but it was as long as it needed to be. I don't own Digimon! Read and Review!
