Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto (but i really wish I did!)
Maru sighed unhappily. She put on some heavy eyeshadow, her eyeliner, and a ton of lip gloss. She pulled on some fishnet stockings, a black leather miniskirt, and a black top that came so low, it left little to the imagination. She sighed again. 'God...I hate this.'
"I don't know, Jiraiya." Kakashi sighed. "I'm just not in the mood. I had the perfect chance to get-"
"Come on, Kakashi. Stop beating yourself up about it." Jiraiya grinned. "There's no better place to cheer yourself up than the strip club! And the one in this post town is especially good."
"I...well, I..."
"Come on. I insist."
Kakashi sighed. "Fine."
Jiraiya grinned and gave the nice-guy pose.
As Maru pulled on her boots, she found herself thinking about childhood days. 'When I lived in Konoha...I never thought I would grow up to be this way. When Kakashi and I were little...' She smiled, remembering her best friend, Hatake Kakashi, and how they met.
'Hey there...what's your name?'
'Hatake Kakashi. What's yours?'
Her smile faded when she thought, 'Wonder what he would say now.'
A still bummed Kakashi and an excited Jiraiya were walking to the strip club together. Kakashi sighed. 'I wonder how Maru's doing?' He remembered just before she had left Konoha, seven years ago.
'Kakashi...I'm leaving Konoha.'
'What! Maru, no, you can't!'
'I have to, Kakashi. Everywhere I go, I see them...I can't stay here any longer.'
'But...Maru...what will I do without you? You're my best friend...'
'Kakashi...I'm sorry. But I have to leave.' She hugged him. Then, she walked out of the city and never looked back.
Present-day Kakashi sighed. 'Maru...it's been how long, and I still remember you to every last detail. God...I miss you. If I could see you again, I wouldn't let you walk away...I would bring you back with me.'
Jiraiya grinned and interrupted Kakashi's thoughts. "There it is, Kakashi!"
"Come on now, Maru...big smile." She forced herself to smile as she walked over to the pole and started dancing, to loud cheers from drunken men. 'God...I really hate this.'
She saw a silver-haired man wearing a mask enter with a big guy with red lines down his face. 'Oh, shit. More weirdos.'
That's it for now! Hope you liked it...(don't worry, it gets better. This is just an intro!) R&R! Plz? Advice for future scenes would be greatly appreciated!
