My Haiku

By: B-H-M-K

This is going to be a collection of the haiku I have written in my notebook that I just remembered I had. -sweatdrop- Anyway, I hope that you like my poems. Oh, and for any of you who don't know what a haiku is, it is a poem with three unrhyming lines, with which the syllable pattern for each line is 5-7-5.

Here goes:

Sakura Blossoms

Falling gently to the ground

Gracefully landing

Though the river flows

It started as a small stream

Where does it end up?

Dripping from my hands

I watch it fall to the ground

The blood is dark red.

The body collapsed

The body was of demon

Sigh, such is my life...

Watching the sunset

Sitting on a green hilltop

Kagome was there.

Watching her arrow

I was amazed by her skill

As she destroyed him.

Twinkling at night

Disappear during the day

Stars are always there.

(These next few ones are meant to be a poetry exchange...think arguing in poetry form)

Shimmering with dew

The green of leaves during spring

Always there for us.

Though the leaves have dew

The dew is gone by midday

What is left, but leaves?

Though the dew is gone

The leaves will remain for us

For us to admire.

When the leaves fall off

There is nothing to admire

The boughs will be there.

The leaves may be gone

But the beauty of nature...

Will always remain.

The nature's beauty

Though beautiful has its' days

Then, there will be storms.

Though storms come by

They don't stay for very long

Then, there will be peace.

The peace won't last long

The storms are neverending,

Though they will take breaks.

Only for short times

Will the storms ever take breaks

Then they will come back.

OK, I think that's enough for one sitting...I still have plenty more to come!!! And these have been sitting in my notebook for months!!!

Please tell me what you thought of them!!!
