Midori and her sisters walk into the room with ease, staying close to each other. Starting at a new school is tough for most people, and although they were nervous, the triplets didn't show it. They were identical and the only way to tell them apart were their hairstyles. Midori wore her hair in a plain ponytail. It lightly brushed her shoulder blades as she walked and her bangs were swept to the right side of her face, going a little below her eyebrows. Mika wore her hair loose. She didn't care about it that much to put so much effort into looking nice, but her sisters always made sure she was presentable. Mitsu preferred putting more effort into her appearance than her sisters. Her hair was in pigtails that was wavy near the near the bottom and that stopped at her shoulders.

The class stared at the girls expectantly and the triplets smiled at the same time. They had a habit of doing things simultaneously and sometimes strangers would be creeped out, but they didn't mind. "Hello. I'm Midori."

"I'm Mika."

"I'm Mitsu!"

"It's nice to meet you!" They said at the same time, each of them smiling. Mitsu smiled the brightest, her hands behind her back as she leaned forward slightly to emphasize her enthusiasm. Midori smiled with her eyes closed, doing a peace sign as she tilted her head to the right slightly. Mika smiled with her eyes closed as well, but she didn't show as much enthusiasm as her sisters. The teacher motioned for them to sit down and they nodded, sitting as far back as possible. They always sat in the order they were born. It was a habit they had adopted when they were younger. After finding out who was born first and the order they were born in, they always sat like that to show who was oldest. Midori sat first, then Mika, and lastly, Mitsu.

In the stiff yellow dress, it was hard to sit comfortably, so the girls sat as best as they could. Mitsu and Midori played with Mika's hair throughout class. Mitsu was twirling her sister's hair, while Midori braided random strands. Class continued on, the teacher droning on and on while only a handful of students paid attention.

Midori's Point of View

As Mitsu and I helped fix Mika's hair again we heard yelling and squealing somewhere down the hall. I tried to push down my curiosity as the squealing continued. I glanced at my sisters and gave them a pleading look. They knew how much I loved exploring, and even though we had agreed to focus on each other, I couldn't help but wonder what was happening over there. "One day of exploring wouldn't hurt, right?" I asked quietly. I knew that they didn't want to go 'investigate' with me, but I couldn't help but wish to do something exciting, even if it wasn't much.

"Fine." Mika sighed. I smiled happily and we walked down the hall, wondering what could possibly be going on.
