"But…I'm getting a little ahead of myself here. Let's go back to the beginning."
I was sprawled out on my bed, doing my math homework contently in my room. I had already finished my Language arts, History, and chemistry homework, all in an hour. I was working on the 5th to last equation for the night, when the phone rang. I looked at the caller ID. It was Sora. I was practically screaming on the inside. You see, I have secretly had a crush on him for since, like, ever, and He had finally called me.
"Hello?
"Hey, Kairi." He said. I was blushing at the sound of his voice. It was a good thing that he couldn't see it.
"What's up?" I asked.
"I…uh…need a little help on the Chemistry homework."
"Ok, I'll be right over." I said. I hung up. I spun around a thousand times, while grabbed my textbook, and my chemistry journal. I told my mom where I would be for the next hour or so. Sora was right down the street so I didn't have long to walk.
I knocked on the door softly. It opened to Sora. He smiled at me, and the blushing turned to feverish dancing on my face.
"Hey, Kairi." He said
"Hey. I got all the study stuff."
"Great. Come on in then."
I stepped inside the house, and trudged up the stairs to Sora's room.
"Hey…are you alright, Kairi? You're burning up."
"I know…I mean, yeah, I'm fine, really." Kairi said
Sora raised an eyebrow at me.
"Well…ok, as long as you're ok…I guess." He said
"Well….let's get started!" I said cracking my knuckles.
"OW!" I said. That was a little too hard.
"Ok. But I have to drop a deuce first. Be right back."
So he dropped a deuce…for ten straight minutes. I walked over to the bathroom.
"C'mon Sora, you know I don't have all night…" I had my back to the bathroom door.
"Hold…On…Kairi…" He said, straining himself.
A half a minute later, the door opened. But I got so used to the leaning on the door, that I slipped and fell back, on to Sora.
I was just kneeling there, on top of him. We gazed into each other's blue eyes, and blushed immensely, and I could hear my heartbeat. We laughed nervously as I backed up off of him. We retreated back to his bed room and began to study. Sora finally understood in a matter of minutes.
"I never knew that Chemistry could be this simple…" Sora said
"Yeah…I bet you'll go through it like a breeze…" I said. I gazed into his eyes and he gazed into mine. We started to lean in closer to each other. But my cell rang and I told I had to take the call.
Namine called. We talked for a few minutes. It was something about pudding…
After, I walked towards his Bedroom door, but turned to ask him questions.
"So, before I go, you need help with anything else?"
"No! What do you think, I'm retarded?"
"Close to it."
"Well I'm not, Smarty-pants!"
Every time we made a rude remark about each other, we made a step closer to each other.
"Seems so, Dumbbell!"
"Ugly!"
"Stupid!"
"Over-achiever!"
"Idiot!"
I could hear passionate heartbeats as we got closer…
